This track is one the most experimental on the record I feel. I really wanted to explore more traditional loud, clean and almost operatic vocal techniques. I think this is as a result of the influence of vocalists like Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden and Devin Townsend of Strapping Young Lad. That sort of approach is really fun to perform and adds a bit of dynamic range to a composition that is otherwise quite harsh in terms of vocal style.

I also feel the guitar solo is a highlight. Although not particularly technical, it has a sense of melancholic drama that I’m quite proud of. Almost “The end of an era” type feel to it.
